Why didn't I get an email after signing up?
In all cases where we have investigated, this has been because the email from YouTwins has been marked as spam by the user's ISP or email program. We recommend that you check your spam folder or change you settings to always accept email from youtwins.com and then ask YouTwins to send you a password reminder.
This site is fairly new but slightly more than half our current users already have a twin. More people are registering all the time so the chances are that others with your birthdate will come along soon. We will let you know by email as soon as they do. You can help by telling your friends about YouTwins - emailing them, using your favorite networking and bookmarking sites, and any other way you can think of!
I have forgotten my password. What should I do?
Enter the email address you used when you registered here and we'll email your password to you.
Yes. You can change your password at any time after logging in using the link at the foot of the page.
I made a mistake typing in my details. How do I fix it?
You can change your name or password by logging in and then using the update my details link at the bottom of the page. If you put in an incorrect birthdate you need log in, then remove your details and then sign up again. If you got your email address wrong you won't know the password to login so just sign up again with the correct details and also email support@youtwins.com so we can remove the incorrect email address.
Can anyone else see my personal details?
The name you provide when you register may be shown to others who register with the same birthdate as you. If they select your name an email will be sent to them and to you showing you both each others' email addresses so can get in touch directly. No other information is shown or sent to anyone.
How do you know what country I am from?
We don't identify where each individual comes from. We collect as little personal information as possible from you when you sign up. However, we can tell which country visitors to our site are from by their IP address. We use that data to compile the top countries whose flags are shown on our home page.
